Most of our injectable services involve a treatment plan, which means they may require multiple visits to reach the desired result. Some of these services even use the body’s natural ingredients in order to treat, such as PRP treatments using blood drawn from the patient.

Injectables

KYBELLA

Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin.

What it treats

Kybella is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called the “double chin.”

How it works

The active ingredient in Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of the dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella destroys the fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction of fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

Side effects and downtime

Most common side effects are severe swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. These side effects can last for multiple weeks following a Kybella treatment.

RADIESSE

Radiesse is the first and only FDA-approved injection, providing immediate contouring and stimulating collagen and elastin production.

What it treats

Radiesse is an injectable recommended for adults with wrinkles and smile lines. It also helps improve jawline contour and volume loss in the hands.

How it works

Upon injection, the Radiesse CaHA gel matrix provides immediate improvement. CaHA particles then integrate into your skin and create a “scaffold” that stimulates collagen and elastin production. As the gel carrier breaks down, a firm network of collagen fibers forms. Formed collagen and elastin replace the correction provided by the gel carrier, smoothing lines and promoting renewed skin structure. This not only improves all targeted areas but improves over time as well. So further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

What it treats

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) amplifies the natural growth factors your body uses to heal tissue. It stimulates collagen and elastin production, resulting in hair re-growth. Plasma is the liquid portion of whole blood. It is composed largely of water and proteins, and it provides a medium for red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets to circulate through the body. Platelets, also called thrombocytes, are blood cells that cause blood clots and other necessary growth-healing functions. How it works

Skinvive is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable indicated to improve cheek skin smoothness. It is a hyaluronic acid injectable, however, it is different from most fillers as it does not provide volume to the treated area.

What it treats

The modified hyaluronic acid (HA) in Skinvive improves cheek skin smoothness and helps skin look hydrated, healthy, and glowing.

How it works

Hyaluronic acid increases your skin's natural hydrating ability to retain moisture and softness. Skinvive, a modified hyaluronic acid gel formula, helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness leading to an improvement in the skin smoothness of the cheeks. Hyaluronic acid, a water-attracting molecule found in your skin, naturally decreases with age and sun exposure. Skinvive microdroplets of hyaluronic acid help address the effects, such as texture changes and dullness.

TREATMENT

SeruGlow is a revolutionary microneedle device that contains 24-karat needles, each one smaller than a hair follicle. The device delivers products such as Hyaluronic acid serum, anti-aging complex, and brightening serum. Neurotoxins and/or PRP can be added to this treatment as well.

What it treats

It stimulates collagen and elastin production to thicken and tighten skin. It improves skin tone and texture. It will also smooth fine lines and act as an antioxidant with hydrating properties. The results are not immediate but they will be seen gradually over the months following treatment.

How it works

Depending on a patient’s concerns and desired results, the solution can be customized and then applied with the microneedle device.

The solution may also be combined with other ingredients to maximize results such as Botox. Adding small levels of Botox to the solution will improve the size of pores and decrease redness over time. This treatment can also help with acne as it provides a natural, gentle smoothing of the skin.

Additional additives are vitamin C to brighten the complexion or Hyaluronic Acid to plump fine lines and wrinkles.

SeruGlow works best in a series of three treatments 4-6 weeks apart. Results appear slowly and naturally as time progresses.
