We also can provide prescriptions for Semaglutide, which helps to curb your appetite and assist in your weight loss goals. A prescription for Semaglutide is only provided after an in-depth consultation with our Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who will assess each individual and decide if they are a good candidate for this treatment.

How it works

A consult with Certified Registered Nurse Practioner (CRNP) is required first. This injectable is then administered by our Registered Nurses (RNs).

  • Prescription for a 12-week supply of vitamins- $175

  • Following visits- $50

Suggested return visit

Return visits are suggested once a week for 6-12 weeks depending on individual needs. Once the course is up, your blood will be drawn to assess if further injections are needed.

Semaglutide is a once-weekly, compounded injectable medication that assists in weight loss. Semaglutide is more potent for fat loss by the inclusion of the ingredient, L-carnitine, a potent fat mobilization amino acid. Semaglutide is a powerful appetite suppressant that can help you to lose weight in conjunction with other lifestyle modifications. (Product availability is subject to the FDA shortage list)

How it works

Semaglutide is injected weekly subcutaneously. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 Agonist. GLP-1 Agonists work by increasing the production of insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas that helps regulate blood sugar. This results in a very powerful and lasting appetite suppression for most patients in addition to improving blood sugar levels.

Side effects

Swelling/redness/itching at the injection site, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation may occur. Nausea usually lessens as you continue to use Semaglutide.

Contraindications

Personal or family history of pancreatitis or medullary thyroid disease. A minimum BMI of 27 is required to be approved for this medication.
